The NSW Parliamentary Inquiry into pornography released its findings in late October 2025. Those findings covered subjects including harm, access by young people, average age of first exposure to pornography, sexual education and more.
Findings included, “Pornography is a widely consumed form of adult entertainment that is not inherently harmful…” and “That current sexuality education is not meeting the needs of a significant number of young people who turn to pornography to fill gaps in their sexuality education…”
The Eros Association lodged a submission to the inquiry and gave evidence at a live hearing to the Parliamentary Committee of Inquiry.
An article written by Giselle Woodley and Leila Green in The Conversation on 6 November 2025 gives an informative overview of the findings and includes useful links to the lengthy report.
